Hi, I’m Dr. Lisa – the veterinarian and founder of Garth Animal Hospital here in Baytown, Texas. I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree back in 2020 and moved to Texas in late 2021 after marrying my husband and have been practicing in Baytown ever since.

Since then, I’ve had the joy of practicing veterinary medicine and building strong connections with pets and their families. After a few years in general practice, I decided it was time to follow my dream of opening a clinic where I could care for animals the way I believe they deserve—patiently, thoroughly, and with heart. That’s why I became Fear Free© Certified and want to offer that in my practice.

At the hospital, I love focusing on preventative care, internal medicine, and echocardiography, and I have a soft spot for exotic and pocket pets too. One of the most important parts of my work is helping fearful or anxious pets feel safe and understood. I take my time, read their body language, and work with them at their pace.

At home, I’m a mom to a sweet daughter, I share my life with our dog Murphy and two cats, Jack and Ekko. When I’m not at the clinic, you’ll usually find me with my family, enjoying the outdoors, or doing something creative to recharge.
